Originally from Arkansas, Morgan Warneke graduated from the Naval Academy in 2015 and served five years as a Surface Warfare Officer. He left the Navy in 2020 to begin his musical journey in Nashville. However, during the winter of 2022, he began serving on Active Duty once again and found a home in Newport, RI for his unique brand of folk-country music he describes as "Opossum Pickin'". He chronicled this major life shift through his most honest work yet "Nothing Works" which was released in Fall 2022. You can find him cutting his teeth on stages across Rhode Island and New England under the name Uncle Ed's Nephew.
